A new promising market for participants of Tashkent city industrial zones — Afghanistan!
From May 10 to 13, 2025, a delegation led by D. Vahabov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, made an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
The delegation also included Abdushukurov Samandar Bahodirovich, Head of the Department for Regulation, Development of Industrial Zones and Cooperation with Khokimiyats of the Tashkent City Directorate for Management of Small and Youth Industrial Zones.
The main purpose of the visit was to increase the export potential of entrepreneurs operating in Tashkent city industrial zones, promote local products to the Afghan market, and strengthen bilateral trade and economic relations.
Official visits were made to government offices, trading houses, and wholesale markets in Kabul and Mazar-i-Sharif. Additionally, B2B meetings were organized with Afghan entrepreneurs in the fields of food products, electrical engineering, and construction materials.
Abdushukurov S.B. presented practical proposals on implementing joint projects in the industrial zones, developing local production, and expanding exports.
