Civil Protection Drill Conducted to Test Disaster Response in Mirzo Ulugbek
Starting from May 14, 2025, command and staff drills are being held across the Mirzo Ulugbek district on the topic of emergency response operations by local authorities and territorial and functional units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
On the second day of the training, coordinated actions were tested in the Mirzo Ulugbek Small Industrial Zone. Civil protection units, composed of employees and staff from local enterprises and other organizations, practiced rescue operations for victims of a simulated 7-magnitude earthquake, fire extinguishing, and evacuation of people to safe areas. The operations were positively assessed.
